Chief Tim Jayroe began his career in law enforcement with the Tyler Police Department where he served for 18 years. While there Jayroe worked in the patrol, criminal investigations and narcotic divisions. He achieved the rank of Lieutenant with the Tyler Police Department. Chief Jayroe came to the Rockport Police Department in July of 1989. He is a graduate of the F.B.I. National Academy and holds a Masters Degree from the University of Texas.  Chief is married to Nita Jayroe and they have three sons.

Commander Gary Howard began his career in law enforcement with the Aransas County Sheriff’s Department where he worked for 4 years. He has been with the Rockport Police Department since May of 1983 and is currently the Commander of the Criminal Investigations Division. He is a 1992 graduate of the Texas Law Enforcement Management Institute. Gary graduated from Texas A & M University (Corpus Christi) with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration. Gary is currently on the faculty of the University of Phoenix where he teaches college undergraduate courses in Criminal Justice and Management. Cmdr. Howard is married to Patty Howard and they have two sons and one grandchild.

Becky Livingston is the pianist for the Gospel Force quartet. Becky has been with the quartet since it’s beginning in 1994. Becky is the pianist for the First Baptist Church of Rockport, where she also serves as a Sunday school teacher. Becky is married to Joe Howard Livingston, and they have two daughters and seven grandchildren.

Lynn Lee was on the Berkeley Police Department in the early 60'S. He said it got too dangerous with the free speech and war protest movements. So he went with the Federal Government in 1966 to live and work in Panama, Vietnam, Ethiopia, Pakistan, the Philippines, and Honduras until 1988. (with a few hardship tours in Washington D.C. thrown in.) He used to sing in a barbershop quartet while in college which was in the dark ages before our tenor singer, Mark Miller, was even born.

Mark Miller and his wife Carrie are the parents of two boys and two girls – Caleb, Caden, Caroline and Lily Kate. Mark stays busy as Pastor of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in nearby Portland. As a graduate of The University of Texas, Mark is an avid Longhorn fan and still cheers for the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, reading and spending time with his family (which is a good thing if you have four kids). His life verses are Proverbs 3:5-6, Psalm 37:4 and Galatians 2:20.
