Meet the Gospel Force | Photo Gallery | Rockport Gospel Music Festival | Home "Rockport's Gospel Force" quartet is a Southern Gospel Quartet that has been singing together since July of 1994. Adding a new “spin” to the group is their newest member, Mark Miller, who is a full-time Pastor in Portland, Texas. (He adds the “Gospel”). The two original members, Tim Jayroe and Gary Howard along with Lynn Lee, all being either current or retired law enforcement officers cover the “Force”. They make regular appearances at churches, revivals, nursing homes, and R.V. Parks to sing for visiting Winter Texans and a variety of other civic and patriotic gatherings. Their only goal is to spread the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, and to be Christian witnesses in their profession and community. The police quartet has performed over 750 concerts since 1994 in Rockport and a number of other Texas cities including Wimberley, Freer, San Antonio, Bryan, Refugio, Victoria, Sinton, George West, Goliad, Portland, Beeville, Waxahachie, Red Oak, Henderson, Cedar Park, Beaumont, South Padre Island and Corpus Christi. The quartet was invited to sing at the state capital in Austin in March of 1997 and February of 1999, and February 2001 for Aransas County Day. The members of the quartet are, Rockport Chief of Police Tim Jayroe (lead singer), Commander Gary Howard (baritone), Mark Miller (tenor) Retired Federal Agent, Lynn Lee (bass) and Becky Livingston, (pianist). The Quartet has released four recordings: “The Next Time He Comes”, “I’ve Got a Mansion”, “And Cried Holy”, and the fourth titled “We Shall See Jesus”. Upcoming Singing Engagements
